Labeeb CTFull-Stack Developer. From automobile engineering to software — now building products with code, AI, and curiosity.

Welcome to my workshop

From machines to software.

From software to ideas.

01 — Mechanical

I started with machines.

Understanding how things move, connect and work.

Automobile Engineering / Diploma

02 — Transformation

The medium changed.

The engineering mindset didn’t.

03 — Digital

Then I started building software.

Different tools. Same instinct to understand, build and improve.

04 — Studio

Now I build with code, AI and ideas.

The tools keep evolving. The builder keeps learning.

I didn’t leave engineering behind.

I changed the things I engineer.

The journey continues.

Everything I built led here.

Currently

Building with code, AI and ideas.

05 — Work

06 — Now

Currently on the bench

A look at what I’m building, experimenting with, learning, and shipping right now.

Building

  • AI-powered SEO Analytics Platform

Building a platform that turns search performance data into useful insights and actionable content work.

Experimenting with

  • AI-native development workflows

Finding better ways to use AI tools and agents to speed up development while keeping the codebase clean and maintainable.

Learning

  • Creative frontend experiences

Exploring motion, interaction, and modern UI techniques to build interfaces that feel more alive and memorable.

Recently shipped

  • Job-Easy

Built a job discovery platform that brings together job tracking, applications, resumes, and a more organised job search workflow.

07 — About

About

I started with machines. Studying Automobile Engineering taught me how systems fit together — how individual parts affect the whole, why things fail, and why understanding the problem matters before trying to fix it.

Eventually, that curiosity pulled me toward software. I moved from mechanical systems to digital ones, but the way I approach problems stayed surprisingly familiar. Break things down, understand how they connect, find what is not working, and build a better solution.

Today, I work as a full-stack developer and enjoy building products from idea to implementation. I work across frontend and backend development, using technologies like React, Node.js, Next.js, Nest.js, and modern web tools. AI is also an important part of how I work — not as a replacement for thinking, but as another tool for exploring ideas, solving problems, and building faster.

The medium changed. The engineering mindset didn’t.

  1. IOSS

    2024 – Present

    Software Developer

    • Building and maintaining full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, Next.js , Express, and modern web technologies.
    • Working across the full development process, from understanding requirements and designing features to building APIs, databases, and user interfaces.
    • Using AI tools as part of my daily development workflow to explore ideas, solve problems faster, improve implementation, and move from concept to working product.
  2. Diploma in Automobile Engineering

Completed before moving into software development

    Automobile Engineering

    • Built a foundation in mechanical systems, engineering principles, problem-solving, tolerances, load paths, and failure analysis.
    • Developed a practical engineering mindset through technical study, workshop learning, and understanding how complex systems are designed and maintained.

08 — Practice

Tools, and how they’re used

Vibe coding, done properly, is AI-assisted engineering. The model accelerates the typing, the boilerplate and the first draft. It does not own the outcome.

Foundations

TypeScript
Contracts between parts of a system, enforced before it runs.

Frontend

React
Composition and state flowing down a tree of components.
Next.js
Routing, rendering strategy and the server/client boundary.

Backend

Node.js
The runtime the services execute on.
Express
Requests passing through ordered middleware to a handler.

Data

MongoDB
Documents shaped to the access pattern.
PostgreSQL
Relations, constraints and indexes holding the shape of the data.

AI

AI-assisted engineering
Used as a multiplier on output — never as a substitute for judgement.

Also

Git

GitHub

Docker

AWS

Postman

CI/CD

What stays mine

  • Architecture — how the system is divided and where the boundaries sit.
  • Logic — whether the behaviour is actually correct, not just plausible.
  • UX — what the person using it experiences.
  • Quality — review, testing and the standard the code is held to.
  • Delivery — getting it shipped, and owning it once it is live.

The loop

  1. IdeaThe problem, framed precisely enough to build against.
  2. AIDraft, explore options, move faster through the known parts.
  3. CodeShape it into the architecture the system actually needs.
  4. TestVerify behaviour. Assume nothing works until it is shown to.
  5. Refactor — returns to CodeWhere the loop turns back — the honest part of the cycle.
  6. DeployShip it, with the ability to observe and roll back.
  7. ProductSomething real, in someone’s hands.
